Mind recently released a new report The Mental Health Emergency. The report shows that over 50% of adults in the UK have reported worsening mental health since lockdown. Normality was suspended overnight and a very abnormal living and working situation imposed. Nuffield Health also found that 80% of people working from home had noticed an impact on their mental health. It is clear that long-term social isolation impacts mental health. So how do we find a way forward in terms of handling the post pandemic mental health fallout? How can we support individuals when resources are already stretched?
